Terms
Last updated 17 October 2026
The short version. Steal My Post is free. You click the link on the page, then you may replace it with your own link and a note of up to 144 characters. It stays until someone else steals the spot. Links must go straight to a real, legitimate page. Abusive, adult, illegal or harmful links are removed.
1. About Steal My Post
Steal My Post (stealit.mojitiles.com) is an independent, free website ("we", "us"). You can contact us at abdel@mojitiles.com.
2. How it works
The page shows one link. Once you have clicked it, you may post a link of your own, which replaces it straight away. Your link then stays on the page until someone clicks it and replaces it. After that, it is shown in the archive, together with how long it was on the page and how many times it was clicked.
There is no minimum time. Someone may replace your link a day later, or a minute later. You can post one link every 30 minutes.
3. Your link and note
- A note can be up to 144 characters, emojis included. Line breaks are turned into spaces, and the note can't contain links.
- We visit your link to show its title, description and preview image, and we keep a copy of that image.
- You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm that you have the right to post it.
- You can't edit or delete your link once it is up. Check it before you post.
- You allow us to show your link, note and preview on Steal My Post, in the archive, and in screenshots or shares that show the site, for as long as the site exists.
4. What you may post
Almost anything: your own project, a song, an article, a video, something you found. Promoting your own product or website is allowed.
You may not post a link or note that:
- is illegal, or leads to illegal goods, services or activities;
- is hateful, harassing, threatening or discriminatory, or attacks a person or group;
- is sexually explicit, or leads to sexual or pornographic content;
- glorifies violence, self-harm or terrorism;
- shares someone else's personal information, or pretends to be someone you are not;
- is a scam, fraud, phishing attempt or deceptive offer, including fake giveaways and get-rich-quick schemes;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- spreads malware, tracks visitors' IP addresses, or tries to harm visitors or their devices.
5. Links must be clean
Every link must go straight to its destination. Before a link goes up, we check it automatically:
- link shorteners, redirect services and links that redirect to another website are refused;
- links must use a normal domain name, not an IP address, and contain no usernames or passwords;
- links to known adult sites and IP loggers are refused.
These checks don't catch everything, so the rest is up to you, and we check links after they go up. All links are marked as user-generated and "nofollow".
6. Reports and removal
Anyone can report the link on the page. When 3 different people have reported it, it is hidden straight away and the link before it comes back. We review hidden links, and may put a link back if the reports were unfounded.
We may also remove any link that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is abusive, harmful, misleading or unlawful, at any time and without notice. This includes links whose page later changes to something that breaks these rules. A removed link disappears from the site, including the archive.
If you see a link that breaks these rules, you can also tell us at abdel@mojitiles.com.
7. Personal data
You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name or email. To enforce the waiting time between links and to count clicks, reactions and reports once per person, we store a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address, never the address itself. A session cookie remembers that you clicked the link and which link is yours. Links you post are public, and they don't show who posted them.
8. Availability and liability
Steal My Post is free and provided as it is. We do our best to keep it online, but we do not promise that it will always be available or error-free. We are not responsible for the content of links or the websites they lead to. Visit them at your own risk.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms. These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights that the law of your own country gives you.
